This one is pretty good representation of my natural color, I think, although there's a little bit of old chemical dye on the ends:


And here's my hair a few days after my last henna:


I use a mix of henna, cheap red wine, and Manic Panic Vampire Red.

Aw thanks Squig! This has taken 7 hennas to build up over blonde. I think I'm going to have to switch to roots only soon. Since I stopped the yellow ammonia/peroxide, I have a bit of a demarcation issue going on, which of course you can't see the roots in that picture, lol.

this is a closeup that really shows the color from my oxidation series... it had mostly oxidized here (I normally show the next pic for color, but my hair was greasy looking in it):

I love the color with henna but I missed my natural color, so I haven't touched it since mid-April. Because of the quality of henna I used, I've already experienced considerable fading in that period. Right now my hair color is somewhere in between the two photos I've posted. I'm not sure what I'll do in the long run...maybe occasional henna glosses...maybe I'll leave it alone. Who knows!

I used pure henna from hennaforhair.com. The first times all over, but then mostly root touch-ups. The last few times I did glosses, then I just let it grow.

I just use a straight henna + warm water + a bit of lemon juice mix.

I do not have any good pics of my hair from previous incarnations. In these pictures the left side is from before Henna and the right side is after the 2nd Henna.
