I just got my hair back to normal after years of dying and bleaching...but looking at all of your beautiful red hair makes me want to go soak my head in some henna!!!

Elarea, beautiful hair and color! I'd love to have that myself, but I'm too scared to try henna on my blonde hair. Could you tell us what was in your mix?

Henna does beautiful things to peoples hair... even tho you all seem to have beautiful hair already! I keep saying "I wish my hair looked like.. that! No, that!"

Here's my grown out hair right before I donated it:

And after hennaing...

But then I grew it a few inches and decided to highlight it with 30vol (took about two hours just for a small change...)

So that's where I'm at now.. I suppose when my hair grows out I MIGHT stop with the henna envy.. Mostly I'm dissatisfied with the length anyhow. I cant really SEE my hair, you know? Just in the mirror. I'm used to holding it in front of my face to see the color. When I can do that again, I'll be able to really judge whether or not I like it.

What an interesting thread! Now I have to find some pictures to post! Which is very hard because I don't actually have any pictures of my real hair color, but do have pictures that come close to it.
I hennaed my boyfriends hair yesterday and we took before pictures, I still got to take the after pictures. His hair (normally dark blonde) turned a real nice brown. I used a mix of cassia and henna.
