    Default Hi

    Hello everyone,
I am new to this community and decided to join because of my perpetual aggrivation I have with my hair. I have very fine hair, it is long-touches the bottom of my bra band in the back, and is layered. I just recently inherted psoriasis from my mom, some of which is on my scalp near the front hair line. I am getting married in May 2009 and want my hair to be as long and healthy as possible before then, but I'm having some trouble. My hair use to grow quickly but not so much anymore. I use to dye my hair every 4-6 weeks with demi permanent dye, but stopped when the scalp psoriasis reared its ugly head in November. I get it trimmed about every 6-8 weeks and take pre-natal vitamins and fish oil supplement. I am describing all of this so everyone can understand every demension of my frustration. I condition well, but my hair seems to dry out quickly, get split ends, and grow very slowly. Aghh.
I am excited to talk to everyone and share experiences, etc.
