Beautiful LONG SILVER hair for mature ladies

I simply love it! When I'm getting grey I won't dye it or cut my hair. In Belgium it's the same... When you become 30 people expect you to cut it above your shoulders... When you become grey they expect you to dye it. Women aged 50 cut it short almost pixie length with a perm here... They al do the same afraid of what others will think.

Welcome to the new ones here - I think there was more than one? I'm at the slightly awkward stage of white bangs, white threads throughout and quite brown at the back. Oh - and that fetching 'skunk' thing going on on top! I cannot bring myself to dye my hair - there's only one way it's going to go - and that's catching up with you ladies!

One of my heroes is professor Mary Beard who has glorious long, silver hair.

My boyfriends mother has beautiful bouncy silver locks. I think long grey hair is gorgeous, definitely better than the typical two inches that I commonly see mature women sporting around here.

I'm still more pepper than salt, but the salt is coming along. I recently hennaed mine because I love red and the silver did turn a bright copper, so I really like it. But eventually I intend to let the color grow out because I would love to sport the solid silver look!
