I have a question. How do I add a signature? The FAQ said that you cab set your signature by editing your profile, but I see no option of signature in my profile, except for the show/don't show signatures box.

I recognize your problem. One and a half year ago My hair was also APL some layers SL and some even shorter. I take trips to the hairdresser every 5 months. Every haircut I make it very clear to the person who's cutting my hair what I want. I let them cut 1 inch from the bottom of my hair and half an inch of my layers. Sometimes I ask to cut a little more.

Now my hair is BSL. I have 1 layer at APL en a bit of a V shape in my hair. I guess that in a years to bottom is all the same length with stil a bit of V shape. Because my bangs are still between jaw length and shoulder length.

i would just keep trimming the hemline only, the layers will eventally grow out. You should probably do S&D for splits though also

I have really layered hair and it looks nice down but it is such a pain to put it up or braid it.....My plan is to cut them little by little as my hair grows longer

I'm growing out layers due to bleach damage. I had a 6 inch chunk tore from my hair. The hair dresser tried to even my v hem line it won't stay as time wears on its the mean time I'm at arm pit length again. She had to cut about 4 inches off the hem line to straighten out my v. I wish she would have left alone. I'm going to monistat and oil wear up hope it grows.

I'm growing out layers too. I always make sure to tell the hairdresser that I'm growing them out and do NOT want them trimmed too. I hate them! I had waist length hair before I let this beauty school girl talk me into layers. My shortest are near my chin and longest midback. I have to braid my hair now when it's wet or else I get pieces hanging out. Meh.

Us shorties have layers MAGNIFIED.......and my advice is the same........grow and microtrim regularly ( I do it every 3 months). Since your hair is long, you may want to learn to trim it on your own. ( i intend to learn this when my hair gets longer). If you go under articles, there is one on how to microtrim your own hair.
