The pins are neat, but they are very crinkly and I would worry about getting them into my hair (and out of there).
I was wondering if anyone has tried NightshadeRoseStudio from Etsy? This shop came up when I was searching for metal hair forks.

My hair has been spitting out the 3" crinkled Amish pins I bought a couple months ago. I end up using a lot of Amish pins and 1 hair stick or hair fork to hold a bun, but I'm worried about excessive hair manipulation causing mechanical damage, so I thought maybe this pin won't slide out of my hair.

pandabarrier your issue might not be the pins themselves, but super slippy hair. Maybe lighten up on the cones if you use them? I have slippy hair and it tends to kind of faint and spit everything out if I don't use products that make it more on the grabby side.

Thank you for the replies!
That's a good point lapushka, how I would get the pin in and out of my hair.
I use cones in my last C, from ears down, maybe I'll use less next time, that's a good advice DweamGoiL!
I also use henna gloss every couple of months for conditioning, that made my hair more slippery.
